Inside the 36th Annual PARCA Auxiliary
Luncheon & Fashion Show
May 14, 2025 | Hillsborough, CA — Chic philanthropy met high fashion at the 36th Annual PARCA Auxiliary Luncheon & Fashion Show, where more than 300 guests gathered at a private estate for what can only be described as an unforgettable afternoon of style and purpose. This year’s theme, PARCA Pink Palace, paid homage to the iconic Beverly Hills Hotel, channeling the effortlessly glamorous spirit of Old Hollywood with a modern West Coast twist.
The event, a long-standing Bay Area tradition, benefits PARCA (Partners and Advocates for Remarkable Children and Adults)—a nonprofit that supports individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Since its founding in 1988, the PARCA Auxiliary has raised more than $6 million for the organization, with the annual luncheon serving as its crown jewel.

Fashion Takes Center Stage
The afternoon’s main event was a runway presentation curated by local luxury fashion visionaries Sam and Gloria Malouf of SAM MALOUF Authentic Luxury. Guests were treated to an exclusive preview of standout pieces from internationally coveted designers such as Chloé, Brunello Cucinelli, Khaite, Dries Van Noten, Isaia, and more. With every look that graced the runway, the crowd was reminded that fashion can not only inspire but empower

Gloria Malouf, PARCA’s 2024 Sustainer of the Year, shared,
“For over 30 years, we’ve had the incredible privilege of uniting fashion and philanthropy. Each year, a new group of remarkably talented women picks up the torch and raises both awareness and essential funds. We’re honored to be part of a community that celebrates generosity with such style.”

A Cause Close to the Heart
Beyond the glamour, the true spirit of the day belonged to the PARCA clients and families the event uplifts. Nick Rich, a PARCA client, moved the audience with his words, and Sue Digre, Director of Family Services, received a well-deserved standing ovation for her tireless work in the community.
PARCA Auxiliary President Tess Salter summed it up best: “This wasn’t just a beautiful event—it was a powerful declaration of purpose.
The generosity ignited today doesn’t just change lives. It creates possibility, dignity, and joy for individuals in our own backyard.”

All the Elegant Details
Guests dined on a gourmet menu by Paula LeDuc Fine Catering, surrounded by a lush setting of palm fronds, pink stripes, and golden accents—an ode to the Beverly Hills Hotel’s storied aesthetic. The afternoon also featured a thrilling live auction, luxury raffle, and an inspiring fund-a-need appeal.
The celebration was a testament to what happens when purpose meets polish—and when a devoted group of women turns compassion into action.
