Susan Akbarpour is a highly accomplished Iranian-American entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist with over 35 years of hands-on experience in building products for various industries, including media, retail, AI, and SAAS software. She is the founder of several start-ups and has a strong background in product design and development.
She is also a dedicated educator, teaching and frequently lecturing on “Product design for Impact” and “Investing in products for Impact”, two courses she designed at the higher education level.
Susan’s early life was marked by tragedy, losing her mother at the tender age of 12 and her father to cancer beforeshe turned 20. Despite this immense loss, Susan demonstrated remarkable resilience and took on the responsibility of raising her younger brothers, including her youngest brother Cyrus, who was just 5 years old when their mother passed away. Apart from her entrepreneurial and investment pursuits, Susan is a dedicated philanthropist.
